2026 Campground Map

Overview of the Campground

Low Water Bridge Campground (LWBC) is a privately owned campground. The land where the campground is located has been in the Munson family for well over half a century.  Established by Page and Christy Munson in 1997 and still going strong over 20 years later. Since the inception, LWBC has changed tremendously, from being under new ownership, to increasing the number of electric sites, offering outfitter services and serving hand dipped ice cream! Stay tuned there's more to come!

Low Water Bridge Campground offers several types of Campsites,

- sites that are equipped with 30- or 50-amp electrical service

- primitive camping sites that include riverfront and non riverfront

Also at the Campground,

- 2 private river access points for our visitors only.

- LWBC's office OPENS AT 8 A.M. AND CLOSES AT 8 P.M.  and also serves as a campground store if you have forgotten any of your necessities.  We have an assortment of items you may need or want.  We have bagged ice on-site and also process and bag our own Firewood.

- Six full bathrooms with hot showers that are located on the rear, ground level of the office and there are also  four portable toilets on the primitive end of the campground.

- Potable Water is available and we have an RV Dump Station. The electric sites for short term rental are ELECTRIC ONLY.

- Check In starts at Noon 12:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., if you arrive for check-in after the office has closed a late check in fee of $20 will be incurred

- Check Out is 11:00 a.m. and is enforced

- We ask that guests NOT bring their own firewood. LWBC offers approved firewood for sale in the main office. If you bring your own firewood, you open yourself up to a fine starting at $50.

- As our guest, we expect that you will clean up after yourself and dispose of your trash appropriately. Trash must be taken to the trailer upon exiting LWBC. If you leave your trash on your site, any animal mess, move the picnic table and/or fire ring, you are responsible for the clean up of the site. This clean up fee will starting at $50.

Our family takes pride in the campground as we hope that you will also. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF AND DO NOT DISTURB OR DESTROY THE NATURE. We hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we have enjoyed living on the banks of the Shenandoah River.

LWBC is a prime location on the beautiful Shenandoah River. Campers have the ability to enter the waterway. However, you are entering the water at your own risk. Use CAUTION & COMMON SENSE, NATURE IS NOT CONTROLLED.
